The Oxford International Women’s Festival exists to celebrate women’s achievements and solidarity and to highlight local, national and international issues. It is organised by local women to reflect a wide range of backgrounds and experiences – and has played a significant part in the community for over a quarter of a century.
Our next meeting is on Thursday 28th June 2018, at Oxford Town Hall, 7-9pm, with guest speaker Maxine Howells from OUP, talking about ‘Gender in Childrens Publishing’
The meeting is open to anyone, so if you would like to get involved, please come along!

On 17th December 2018 we will be holding a special event to celebrate the first time women voted in 1918. We are pleased to announce that Helen Pankhurst and Dr Katherine Connelly has agreed to speak at the event.
